The month of Nisan is from the language of "nisim," miracles. However, more simply it from the language of "light," like "mitnosesot" (Zecharia 9). Nisan gematria "nisim."
Nisan has a nunn at the beginning and end since it contains the 50 makot on the Egyptians and in it was hung Haman 50 amos high.
The two nunns, one bent and one long, hint to the name "Yinon," since that is when Moshiach comes.
Haman was happy that his lots fell on Adar since that is when occurred the plague of darkness and (a large portion Yisrael) died.

(But he forgot that "u'lechol bnei Yisrael haya ohr," thus, "la'yehudim haysa ohra"-light...)

"Through the hand of Hegai... Esther was taken to the palace..."
---
Esther's devotions
Hegai is from the language "le'hagot," to read or think. This refers to Esther's words of Torah and prayer. Through this she merited to be "taken to the palace" to receive her Royalty.
Hegai is gematria 18, the prayer of Shmona Esreh. He is mentioned twice in the pasuk since there are two obligatory prayers, Shachrit and mincha.
The Rokeach
---
Memuchan (Haman) was upset at Vashti that she did not invite him to her party, thus his harshness towards her, and the decree against her. (Juxtapose to Esther, who then singled him out to invite him to her party.)

-Rokeach (in Esther Raba, didn't invite his wife. Perhaps this fits with what he expressed before that really it would have been a mixed party, if not for the righteous women who separated.)
