Our sages said, when Yakov and Eisav were still in their mothers' womb, Yakov said to Eisav: "Eisav my brother, we are two brothers and there are two worlds in front of us. This world and and the world to come. This world has in it eating and drinking and business, marrying a woman and have sons and daughters. But the world to come doesn't have any of these things. If you want, you take this world and I'll take the world to come."

How do we know this was so? Since it says, "sell to me like the day you're first born right to me." Just as (that day) when we said so in the womb.
